If booking a laser facial, please try to remove any makeup before you arrive. We understand this may not always be possible but it does allow us to spend more time on the treatment itself as removing makeup can be timely.
Please ensure you have completed all required consent and intake forms upon booking, as there are important pre-treatment instructions that, if not followed, may prevent us from being able to perform your treatment.
If booking laser hair removal or vein therapy, please shave treated area 24-48 hours prior. Please dress comfortably.
Please notify your Aesthetician of any concerns, changes to your skin, changes in medication, etc.
We cannot treat freshly tanned skin for the following treatments (Laser hair removal and IPL). It is important to avoid sun exposure to treated area for these treatments. Please book your laser hair removal or IPL a minimum of 4-6 weeks post sun exposure.
Laser Genesis is safe 365 days a year if using SPF daily and reapplying every 2 hours.
We cannot perform any of the laser treatments if you have a sunburn.
Please discontinue retinoids 7 days prior
Please discontinue actives/exfoliators (ie. AHA, BHA, retinol, etc.) a minimum of 3-5 days prior
Unfortunately no. Clients must be off Accutane for a minimum of 12 months
Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the aestheticians day that could have been filled by another client. As such, we require at least 48 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Clients who provide less than 48 hours notice, will be charged a $50 late cancellation fee. Clients who provide less than 24 hours notice, will be charged a $100 late cancellation fee. Clients who miss their appointment/no show, will be charged 100% of their treatment as a cancellation fee.
Unfortunately none of our laser treatments are safe while pregnant or breastfeeding.
Yes! However, we do recommend discussing these products with your OBGYN, doctor, or midwife to get a final go ahead and confirm they are right for you as they know your health history.
