- Use of actives/exfoliating ingredients within the last 3-5 days
- Use of retinoids within the last 7 days
- Raised moles, warts and keloid scars must be avoided
- Recent facial surgery (please wait until fully healed)
- Current use of antibiotics (topical or systemic)
- Extreme sensitivity and/or rosacea
- Client must be on a pigment inhibitor for a minimum of 4 weeks
- No self-tanners, spray tans, etc. for at least 2-4 weeks prior to treatment
